    49ers re-sign McBath to one-year deal

    Free agent safety Darcel McBath re-signed a one-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers, the team announced Thursday.

    Primarily a special-teams player, McBath played in 19 games last season with the 49ers, making eight regular-season tackles. Overall, he has 33 tackles in 31 regular-season games.

    The Texas Tech product was signed as a free agent prior to last season after he was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
