49ers' Gamble drawing interest for GM openings

Tom Gamble, the San Francisco 49ers director of player personnel, seems to be a hot commodity at the moment, as three teams have requested permission to speak to Gamble about their general manager vacancies, NFL.com reported Monday.

The 49ers have given permission to the New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars and San Diego Chargers to speak to Gamble about their GM openings, according to the report.

Gamble has been in the NFL for 24 years, the last seven with the 49ers.
