Woj on NBA free agency:

49ers' Davis leaves game with concussion

The SportsXchange

San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis left Sunday night's game against the Seattle Seahawks with a concussion and was not expected to return.

Davis was injured when he took a big hit from Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor while attempting to make a catch in the first quarter.

Chancellor was penalized for unnecessary roughness, though replays showed the hit was clean.

It remains to be seen whether Davis will miss next week's regular-season finale or any playoff games.

Davis had one reception for 27 yards Sunday, which gives him 40 catches for 543 yards for the season.
