The 49ers scored on plays of 52 yards and 65 yards and controlled the Buccaneers, 33-14, in Tampa.
Colin Kaepernick accounted for two scores against the Buccaneers on 19 of 29 passing for 203 yards and no interceptions. On the Buccaneers side, Mike Glennon went 18 for 34 with 179 yards passing, two touchdowns and one pick.
The San Francisco defensive unit led the way to a victory, limiting the Buccaneers to 39 yards rushing and 179 passing. They harassed Glennon and the Buccaneers offensive line with an imposing four sacks.
Finally, Phil Dawson was perfect, making all four of the field goals he attempted.
Buccaneers tight end Tim Wright had a productive game with 82 receiving yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Vincent Jackson also had a noteworthy performance with 58 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Next week, the 49ers are at home against the Falcons (3-10) while the Buccaneers travel to St. Louis to face the Rams (5-8).
