2013 NBA Draft Order: Will the Cleveland Cavaliers Pick Nerlens Noel?

Yahoo Contributor Network

COMMENTARY | The Miami Heat victory party is over and the 2013 NBA draft order on June 27, 2013 is the talk of the sports world. Nerlens Noel (University of Kentucky ) and the Cleveland Cavaliers appear to be on a collision course as the post-LeBron James-era Cavs try to regain elite status.

The NBA draft lotteries are homers to some teams and nightmares to others. With the Heat still in good shape for another title run next season, other clubs must make the right moves, at the right time and for the right price. And the luxury tax penalties don't make the job easier.

Food for thought: Hot NBA draft prospect, Nerlens Noel, is getting the most buzz among potential overall picks. Arguably, his style compares to Marcus Camby and it's hard to make a case against his bodacious shot-blocking ability.

In light of his torn ACL, the chilling images of Greg Oden dance around in my head.

The 2013 NBA draft takes place Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The time is scheduled for 7 p.m. EDT. Check local listings for more information.
