The 2012 U.S. Open will be played at The Olympic Club in San Francisco, California from Thursday, June 14 to Sunday, June 17. Television coverage of the event can be found on ESPN and NBC and there will at least 32 hours of live coverage over the four day span.
As one of golf's four major tournaments, the U.S. Open will feature some of the most challenging golf courses and competition found in the PGA. With players like Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson, Luke Donald, and many others around the world seeking another major career victory, the entire field will do all it can in hopes of conquering this Northern California golf course. Day 1 will start with Shane Bertsch, Tommy Biershenk, and Martin Flores teeing off at 10:00 a.m. EST and end with the group consisting of Brian Gaffney, Brian Rowell, and Alberto Sanchez at 5:57 p.m. EST.
