Friday's Opening Ceremony will mark the official beginning of the 2012 London Olympics. Athletes in one sport will get a two-day head start on everyone else. Wednesday will mark the actual beginning of the Summer Olympics with a host of women's soccer games. Teams from Groups E, F and G -- highlighted by the United States - will begin pool play on July 25th.
NBC will broadcast the soccer games on three different networks - including a special Olympic channel created just for soccer.
