2012 RICOH Women’s British Open TV Schedule

The 2012 RICOH Women's British Open will be played at Royal Liverpool Golf Club in Merseyside, England from Thursday, September 13 to Sunday, September 16. Television coverage of the event can be found on ESPN and there will at least 12 hours of TV coverage over the four-day span.

Established in 1976, this event is the only tournament serving as a major championship for both the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour. Typically played in late July, this year's tournament will be played in mid-September instead due to the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Karrie Webb in 1997 and Karen Stupples in 2004 have the tournament-record score of -19.

The defending champion of the event is Yani Tseng, who won the event with an overall score of -16. Day 1 will start with Sophie Gustafson, Lydia Ko, Azahara Munoz, Kaori Ohe, Florentyna Parker, and Lexi Thompson teeing off at 2:00 a.m. ET and end with Rachel L. Bailey, Valentine Derrey, Tania Elosegui, Vicky Hurst, Ilhee Lee, Jin Young Pak at 8:30 a.m. ET. The purse for the event is $2.75 million.
