2012 PGA Championship TV Schedule

The 2012 PGA Championship will be played on The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in Kiawah Island, South Carolina from Thursday, August 9 to Sunday, August 12. Television coverage of the event can be found on TNT and CBS and there will at least 28 hours of TV coverage over the four-day span.

Established in 1916, this event is the last of four major championships in professional golf. Typically four weeks after The Open Championship, this event has never been held at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. In 2001, the tournament record for best aggregate was 265 by David Toms.

The defending champion of the event is Keegan Bradley, who won the event with an overall score of -8 at the Atlanta Athletic Club in John Creek, Georgia. Day 1 will start with Mark Brown, Charles Howell III, Matteo Manassero, Kelly Mitchum, D.A. Points, and Marcel Siem teeing off at 7:20 a.m. ET and end with Robert Allenby, J.J. Henry, Brendan Jones, William McGirt, Bill Murchison, and Paul Scaletta at 2:30 p.m. ET. The purse for the event is $8 million with the winner receiving $1.445 million.
