    2012 NFL Thursday Night Schedule

    The 2012 Thursday night football schedule has quite a few exciting games, with many of them consisting of division rivalries. The way that the Thursday night games play out could shape the divisional races, possibly bringing NFL fans a very exciting docket.

    The first Thursday night game of the season was actually moved to Wednesday night in Week 1, when the Super Bowl champion New York Giants host the Dallas Cowboys. That is one exciting matchup and it is bound to kick off the NFL season on the right foot.

    The first official Thursday night game takes place on Sept. 13, when the Green Bay Packers host the Chicago Bears in a NFC North showdown.

    Every game other than the Thanksgiving Day contests will kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET on NFL Network.

    Week 6: Oct. 11 - Pittsburgh Steelers at Tennessee Titans

    Week 7: Oct. 18 - Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers
