The 2012-13 NBA schedule was released on July 26, 2012. Each team will play an 82-game regular-season schedule. The 2011-12 schedule featured only 66 regular-season games for each team. That was due to the NBA lockout.
The Brooklyn Nets will open their season with a home game against the New York Knicks on November 1. The Nets will host their in-state rival a second time on December 11. They'll host the Boston Celtics on Christmas. The Nets will close their season with home games against the Washington Wizards and Detroit Pistons.
