13 Things the Final Five Did at the 2016 VMAs

The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards have come and gone. Beyoncé won everything (pretty much), put on a mini concert, and proved once and for all that angels do exist. Four of the Final Five - Laurie Hernandez, Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, and Madison Kocian - also had a pretty spectacular night, schmoozing with music royalty and taking selfies. (Gabby Douglas was also supposed to be there but had to drop out because of a "seriously infected past mouth injury," her publicist told People. She was briefly hospitalized Sunday before the show. Get well soon, Gabby!). Here's a look back at how the (near complete) Final Five spent their first VMAs.

1. The ladies arrived on the red carpet together like royalty.

2. They presented Beyoncé with an award.

Yes, they were on stage when Queen Bey took home the Moonman for Best Female Video for "Hold Up." The whole encounter was just adorable.

3. They each received a hug from Bey.

And Laurie couldn't handle it.

4. They met Kim Kardashian.

I know, it's no Zac Efron but scoring a selfie with Kim is basically like winning the lottery.

6. ...While Laurie took a selfie with Kanye.

I guess if they decide to tour together in the future, their super-group name would be Final Five Harmony?

11. Aly and Madison met some Victoria Secret models.

Together with Taylor Hill and Jasmine Tookes, the girls are basically your new favorite idols.

12. Aly and Ashley Graham slayed together.

13. Aly met Luna Simone Stephens, aka the cutest baby in the world.

This happened technically before the VMAs, but Aly got ready with Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. Aly's brother Brett also got a lesson on ties from papa John. Look how proud they look just before sending Aly off to the big show.
