      <description>Mike Brown ran for two touchdowns to lead Furman to a 28-21 win against Western Carolina on Saturday. Brown ran for 122 yards and two scores on 16 carries for the Paladins (5-2, 2-1 Southern Conference). Zach Jaynes completed 33 of 48 passes for 302 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He added 36 yards rushing on nine carries and a touchdown for the Catamounts (2-5, 0-3).</description>

Taliaferro, who was 14-of-16 for 154 yards, connected with Jonathan Lowery on a 22-yard touchdown to give the Bulldogs (3-2) a 14-6 lead with 6:50 left in the third quarter.</description>
