   Was he a one-hit wonder? 

   The Gamecocks don't think so. That's why coach Steve Spurrier has selected redshirt freshman quarterback Stephen Garcia to start Saturday against No. 13 LSU.

   Garcia rallied the Gamecocks to victory at Kentucky last week, coming off the bench to lead two fourth-quarter scoring drives.

   Now he'll face the defending national champs.

   "That's a lot of pressure right there," All-SEC wideout Kenny McKinley told The State newspaper. "But I know Garcia, as much confidence as he had (at Kentucky), it's going to be no sweat for him.

   "If he does like he did (last weekend), we'll have a win."
