Welton finished with 161 yards on 10 carries for the defending Football Championship Series champion Mountaineers (1-1). He led the way for a rushing attack that tallied 448 yards against 43 for the Dolphins (0-2) in the win.</description>

      <description>Freshman quarterback Josh McGregor led Jacksonville on three consecutive scoring drives to lead the Dolphins to a 20-7 victory over Savannah State on Saturday. McGregor, who replaced starter Erik Stepelton in the third quarter, was 9-for-14 for 159 yards and scored on a 13-yard run. Rudell Small rushed for 109 yards on 25 carries and Keith Dawson scored on a 7-yard run for the Dolphins (1-0).</description>
