Jaybo Shaw kept it simple in his first start for Georgia Tech: Pass to Demaryius Thomas and hand it off to Jonathan Dwyer. Shaw had 230 yards passing on nine completions, all to Thomas, Dwyer ran for a career-best 159 yards and Georgia Tech shut out Duke 27-0 on Saturday.    Duke is off to its best start since the 1994 team won its first seven games, but if the  Blue Devils (3-2, 1-1 ACC) are to continue their success, there's no secret to what it is going to take.

   The Blue Devils are back to struggling in the running game, having averaged only 66 yards a game rushing over the last three outings, which is only a couple of yards better than what they averaged for all of 2007. They hit a season low 35 in the loss to Georgia Tech.

   Perhaps the open date will help coach David Cutliffe and his staff come up with an answer.
