Massachusetts' tailback Tony Nelson rushed for 171 yards on 20 carries and added a two-yard touchdown catch in his first collegiate start to lead the Minutemen past Albany, 28-16, Saturday. Albany had the Minutemen on their heels early, taking a 9-0 lead on a touchdown pass from Vinny Esposito to David McCarty and a fumbled punt return for a safety in the first quarter.
