Villanova lands Penn freshman Tyler Perkins via the transfer portal

Tyler Perkins might be leaving Penn, but he won't be going far. The freshman guard is transferring to Villanova, he announced via Instagram on Sunday. Perkins, who has three years of eligibility remaining, committed following a visit to the Main Line on Friday. Perkins started 27 of 29 games for Penn during his freshman campaign and was second on the team in scoring, averaging 13.7 points.
