      <description>Guards Larry Wright and Mike Cavataio will transfer from St. John's to other schools following the spring semester. Red Storm coach Norm Roberts said Monday that Wright, who averaged 9.1 points in 18.9 minutes as a sophomore last season, announced his intention to transfer because of the recent discovery of an illness involving a member of his immediate family.</description>

      <description> &lt;p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Coach Norm Roberts said all season that the 2007-08 Red Storm squad was built for the future. Three freshmen wound up starting for St. John's on a regular basis, and five others came off the bench.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;That argument helped save his job for another season, because the bottom line was that the team's performance was disappointing to both the fans and the administration. By the time the season ended, fans were chanting for Roberts' head at games and on talk-radio.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Expectations among the fan base were that the Red Storm, even with its youth, would take a step forward in Roberts' fourth season at the helm. Though the team was picked to finish 14th in the conference in the preseason poll, Anthony Mason Jr.</description>
