Prairie View will be sitting out the SWAC tournament for the fifth straight year, but the Panthers sure had a lot to say about who was playing in it.

Prairie View swept Grambling during the season, had wins over Jackson State and Mississippi Valley, and in its final game defeated Alcorn to keep the Braves at home.

The Panthers were swept by a struggling Southern team, and one victory in those games would have gotten Prairie View into the tournament.

Prairie View will be spending a lot of time this offseason wondering what might have been with only one more win.

More time than they would have liked for the fifth straight year.

Final Record:    8-22, 6-12, tied for seventh in SWAC.
