The brilliant career of Dayton star guard Brian Roberts is over.

One of the school's all-time greats, Roberts finished fourth on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,962 points—trailing only Roosevelt Chapman (2,223 points, 1980-84), Don May (1,980 points, 1965-68) and Henry Finkel (1,968 points, 1963-66). Needless to say, Roberts will be sorely missed.

"You don't just take someone and plug him into Brian's spot," said Dayton head coach Brian Gregory. "He's a unique player because of his ability to score off the dribble, to score off the pass and not have to dominate the ball in order to dominate the game. Not many guys can do that."
