Not everyone signs D-I: several top locals go in a different direction02/07/2012 MarylandVarsity.com

Not every prominent in-state prospect or member of the MdHigh Top 100 signed with an FBS or FCS program on National Signing Day. In fact almost one-third - 29 to be exact - will attend a lower-level school, walk-on at a high profile program or attend prep school/JUCO for a semester. A few others are still scraping around, waiting to see if a post Signing Day scholarship will materialize, while several more are still deciding between several offers still on the table.
