|Texas RB bursts on the scene07/29/2008 CougarsDen.com|
When the casual fan thinks about Angleton (Texas) Wildcat football, the most popular name that comes to mind is Quentin Jammer, who starred at cornerback at the University of Texas and now for the San Diego Chargers. D.J. Monroe, who was one of the fastest sprinters in the state and excelled in football this past year as well, will be headed down that same road to Austin. Angleton's 2009 prospect attended Houston's one-day camp and impressed coaches and on lookers.
