NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP)—Xavier Roberson’s 92-yard kickoff return for a touchdown ignited a 37-22 comeback for Southeastern Louisiana over Northwestern State Saturday night.

A 4-yard TD rush by Kody Sutton gave SE Louisiana its first lead of the game, to which the Demons quickly responded with a touchdown of their own. Chris Moore missed the extra point, leaving the score 23-22.
QB Bryan Bennett rushed for a touchdown early in the fourth to stretch the lead to eight for the Lions (5-2, 2-0 Southland). Bennett was named the Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week after last week’s game against Stephen F. Austin.
