PORTLAND, Ore. (AP)- DJ Adams rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns as Portland State coasted to a 57-17 win over Eastern Oregon Thursday Night at Jeld-Wen Field.
The Vikings cruised to a big lead by shutting out the Mountaineers 36-0 in the first half. Adams ran for two first half touchdowns and Kieran McDonagh threw for two more.
Roston Tatum had three catches for 159 yards including an 80-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
Shaq Richard ran for 107 yards and Justin Lilley added 88 and a touchdown.
Eastern Oregon’s Zach Bartlow finished 16-of-27 for 165 yards, but threw interceptions on the first two drives, including a 64-yard interception return by Aaron Sibley early in the first quarter.
Despite losing four fumbles and committing 16 penalties on the night, the Vikings totaled 672 offensive yards with 405 on the ground.
