NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP)—Brady Attaway overcame four interceptions by
throwing three touchdown passes as Stephen F. Austin defeated Southeastern
Louisiana 28-20 on Saturday night.
Attaway connected for a 2-yard score to Marquis Mosley, a 3-yarder to Gralyn
Crawford and a 45-yarder to Ryan Gambel. The quarterback finished 25-for-52 for
Crawford caught six passes for 59 yards to become the school’s all-time
receptions leader with 190.
Gus Johnson’s 12-yard run accounted for the other touchdown for the
Lumberjacks (5-5, 4-2 Southland), who won their fourth in a row.
The Lions (2-8, 0-6) have dropped three straight and seven of their last
Southeastern Louisiana’s Brian Young went 32-for-41 for 179 yards and a
29-yard touchdown pass to Kory Theodore. Zeke Jones rushed 1 yard for a
touchdown, and Seth Sebastian kicked two field goals.
The Lumberjacks had 474 yards of total offense to 292 for the Lions.
