Charleston Southern beats Coastal Carolina 24-0
CONWAY, S.C. (AP)—Tribble Reese threw two touchdown passes to lead Charleston Southern to a 24-0 win against Coastal Carolina on Saturday night.
After a scoreless first half, Reese threw a 17-yard pass to Tyrese Harris and a 21-yard pass to Markus Murry to give the Buccaneers (7-5, 3-2 Big South Conference), who have won four straight games, a 14-0 lead going into the fourth.
Gerald Stevenson, who rushed for 63 yards and had four catches for 20 yards, ran it in from 28 yards out midway through the final quarter to cap the scoring.
Reese completed 11 of 18 passes for 82 yards.
The Chanticleers (6-6, 1-4) had won three of their past four games.
