Fordham routs Georgetown 17-0

NEW YORK (AP)—John Skelton threw two touchdowns and had 173 yards passing to lead Fordham in a 17-0 rout of Georgetown on Saturday.

Skelton, who finished 16-for-29 in heavy rain, connected on a 1-yard pass to his brother Steve with 3:15 left in the first quarter. Adam Danko made a 35-yard field goal with 40 seconds left in the half for the Rams (5-5, 1-4 Patriot League).

Skelton threw a 26-yard touchdown to John Arnold at 10:27 in the third.

Xavier Martin had 176 yards on 36 carries for Fordham, boosting his season total to 1,080 yards. He is the sixth player in school history to reach 1,000 yards in single season.

Scott Darby was 12-for-27 for 70 yards passing for the Hoyas (2-8, 0-6).
