Rudolph leads Lafayette to 48-13 win over Fordham
NEW YORK (AP)—Jerome Rudolph scored three touchdowns and Greg Stripe returned a kickoff 80 yards for a score to lead Lafayette to a 48-13 victory over Fordham on Saturday.
Rudolph ran for two touchdowns, gaining 140 yards on 16 carries for Lafayette (6-1, 2-0 Patriot League). He also caught three passes for 51 yards, including a 31-yarder to give Lafayette a 7-0 lead 2:34 into the game.
Rob Curley completed 11 of 16 passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns for the Leopards.
Fordham’s John Skelton finished 19-for-36 for 264 yards and one touchdown, a 14-yard pass to Clayton Busch to get the Rams (3-4, 0-3) within 34-13 with 2:10 left in the third quarter. Stripe returned the ensuing kickoff to put the game away.
Adam Danko kicked field goals of 23 and 25 yards for Fordham.
