Liberty wins 33-0, remains undefeated

LYNCHBURG, Va.—Rashad Jennings rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns to help Liberty remain undefeated with a 33-0 victory over Stony Brook on Saturday.

The Flames (6-0, 2-0 Big South Conference) dominated, rolling up 466 yards of offense and holding the Seawolves (1-5, 0-1) to 233.

Mike Brown, who finished with 53 yards on four carries, scored Liberty’s first touchdown on a 29-yard run with 1:37 remaining in the first quarter.

Jennings scored on a 14-yard run to give Liberty a 17-0 halftime lead, and added a 2-yard touchdown run with 12:15 left in the third quarter for a 23-0 lead.

Brock Smith, who completed 14 of 20 passes for 136 yards, threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Dominic Bolden with five minutes remaining in the third quarter for a 30-0 lead.

Edwin Gowins led Stony Brook with 55 yards on seven carries, and Dayne Hoffman was 13-for-23 for 142 yards.
