AMHERST, Mass. (AP)—Armando Cuko kicked a fourth-quarter field goal and Jeromy Miles intercepted a pass to help Massachusetts break a tie and take a 17-7 victory over Delaware in Colonial Athletic Conference action Saturday.
Cuko broke a 7-7 tie when he scored a 38-yard field goal to help UMass take a 10-7 lead. A few minutes later, Miles picked off a Robby Schoenhoft pass and returned it 52 yards to get Massachusetts in a more comfortable zone.
Delaware (2-3, 0-1 CAA) got it’s only score in a long first quarter drive when Schoenhoft passed 8 yards to Robbie Agnone.
