Moses throws for 6 scores, leads SFA over Langston

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP)—Jeremy Moses threw for six touchdowns and ran for another as Stephen F. Austin beat Langston 56-19 on Saturday night in the season open for both clubs.

Moses’ favorite target was Tyrel Williams, who caught seven passes for 89 yards and a score. Contrevi Parks caught six passes for 48 yards and two touchdowns while Duane Brooks caught five passes for 97 yards and a TD for the Lumberjacks.

Moses was 27-of-41 passing for 280 yards and no interceptions. The Lumberjacks ran for just 19 yards.

Danny Lowery went 16-of-26 passing for 123 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Lions. Lowery ran for another 30 yards on 10 carries.
