OGDEN, Utah (AP)— Cal Poly turned two turnovers into touchdowns Saturday to defeat Weber State, 17-0.

In the first quarter, Ryan Shotwell picked up a Weber State fumble by Marky Filipe at the 1-yard line. Seconds later, James Noble ran it in for the score.

Mark Restelli intercepted a pass by Ian Pizarro in the fourth quarter and returned it 42 yards for a touchdown. Nick Coromelas had a 26-yard field goal for the Mustangs (2-0).

Weber State (0-2) switched quarterbacks, replacing Ian Pizarro with Shawn Woods in the second quarter, but the change failed to get the Wildcats moving on offense and the starter eventually returned.
