Kansas State declares itself ‘Texas State Champs’Well, at least Kansas State can say it's the champion of something.

With no way for Kansas State to win the Big 12 because of losing the head-to-head tiebreaker with either Oklahoma State or Oklahoma, the Wildcats won't be heading to the BCS as the Big 12 champion. But they can say they owned the state of Texas.

Kansas State's official team store is selling T-shirts commemorating the Wildcats' sweep of the Big 12 teams from the state of Texas. It's the first time in Big 12 history that Kansas State has played each of the Texas teams, which makes the sweep unique.

The shirt has the K-State logo on top of the state of Texas and the words "2011 Texas State Champs" scrolled across the front. The back has the logos of each of the Big 12's Texas teams and the scores of the games: 36-35 over Baylor, 41-34 over Texas Tech, 53-50 over Texas A&M (in four overtimes), and 17-13 over Texas.

And there's still a chance the Wildcats could finish their season in Texas with a trip to the Cotton Bowl.
