I won't pretend that there's a big, marquee blockbuster to rally around on today's schedule but there's still plenty of hate to go around on a day full of grudges old (Alabama-Tennessee), new (USC-Oregon State), underrated (Washington-Oregon) and with potentially far-reaching implications (BYU-TCU). These are the kinds of days that change the landscape when you've convinced yourself it's OK to clean the gutters or go to the daughter's recital or something. But you'll never regret a day filled with football.
What: Game day live blog. All games in play, all comments, colors and longstanding grudges welcome.
When: First kick at noon Eastern; chat kicks roughly simultaneously. The blog will run throughout the day, through at least the primetime tilts. Midnight oil for Arizona State-Stanford is a game-time decision, pending consciousness.
Who: You and all your rowdy friends. Come loud, proud and bearing deep-fried absurdities of your particular regional bent, please.
How: Scroll down, hit "Watch Now," enter comments into the available box and do your part to accelerate the slow, agonizing death of conventional journalism.
Why: Because dropping strategic bombs filled with snark and satire on earnest adolescents never gets old. Football!
