Scouting Report on Keaton Grant

by Jerry Meyer - 08/20/2004
At 6-foot-2, Grant has very good length with his 6-foot-7 wingspan. He is athletic and attacks the basket very well, especially in transition. He can also knock down the three, but his shot tends to flatten out, which hurts his consistency. On the defensive side of the ball, he has the potential to be a stopper and very good rebounder.

Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
