Sean McGonagill scored 13 points and dished out seven assists for the Bears (10-14, 4-6 Ivy League), who snapped a two-game winning streak. Tucker Halpern pitched in with 12 points, and Rafael Maia had a game-high 13 rebounds—even though Dartmouth outrebounded Brown 39-35.
The Bears, who led by 16 points in the first half, had their lead cut to six points with 2:54 left to play when Dartmouth’s Connor Boehm scored on a layup. But Sullivan knocked down a 3-pointer and made two free throws during a 9-2 run to give Brown enough cushion for the victory.
Tyler Melville was the only Dartmouth player to score in double figures with 14 points. Gabas Maldunas had eight points and nine rebounds for the Big Green (6-18, 2-8), who lost their fifth straight.
