CONWAY, Ark. (AP)—Roosevelt Johnson posted a double-double with 28 points and 14 rebounds and Southeast Louisiana held off Central Arkansas in the closing moments for a 70-69 victory on Thursday night.
Southeast Louisiana (8-11, 6-3 Southland) was accurate from the field—28 of 55—but not so much at the foul line—9 of 17.
Brandon Fortenberry scored 14 points and handed out six assists for Southeast Louisiana. Jeffery Ricard scored 12 points.
Central Arkansas (8-11, 3-6) had a 7-point lead with 9:01 left in the game, but could not maintain its advantage.
Robert Crawford led Central Arkansas with 17 points and eight rebounds. LaQuentin Miles scored 15 points and Anthony Borden scored 13 points.
