KENNESAW, Ga. (AP)—Chris Perez scored 19 points, including a last-minute three-point play, to lead Stetson over Kennesaw State 70-60 Wednesday night in Atlantic Sun action.

Stetson scored the last 10 points to hand Kennesaw State (1-13, 0-2) its 12th straight loss.

But Stetson rebuffed the rally. Adam Pegg (14 points) converted a 3-point play. After an Owls’ miss, Perez completed his three-point play with 0:36 remaining. Two free throws by Joel Naburgs with 0:19 left clinched it.
