Cochran, a 35.8-percent (57 of 159) shooter for the season entering Tuesday, was 12-of-18 shooting and hit 5 of 9 from 3-point range, including four treys in the first half, when he scored 20 points.
The Terriers (5-6) led 47-34 at halftime and opened the second on a 17-2 run, with Lee Skinner scoring six of the first eight points. Jarell Byrd capped the run with two free throws with 11:55 left, putting Wofford up 64-36.
The Terriers shot 55.7 percent (34 of 61) from the field, hit 13 of 25 from 3-point range and made 13 of 15 foul shots.
The loss was the second straight for Jacksonville (4-7), which fell to South Carolina 91-74 in its last contest Dec. 7.
