VESTAL, N.Y. (AP)—Joe Willman scored 16 points to lead four Bucknell players in double figures as the Bison ended a two-game losing streak with a 77-63 victory over winless Binghamton on Tuesday night.
Willman scored 10 of his points in the first half, when the Bison (6-4) shot 68 percent (17 of 25) to build a 43-23 halftime lead.
Taylor Johnston scored all 14 of his points in the second half for the Bearcats (0-7), who never got closer than nine points, 71-62. By then, just 38 seconds remained.
Cameron Ayers scored 13 points and Mike Muscala had 12 points and nine rebounds for Bucknell, which continued to shoot well in the second half, making 10 of 19 to finish the game at 61.4 percent (27 of 44). Steven Kaspar had six assists for the Bison.
Ben Dickinson scored 20 points to lead Binghamton, which shot 33.3 percent in each half.
