STILLWATER, Okla. (AP)—Cezar Guerrero hit eight 3-pointers and tied the Oklahoma State freshman scoring record with 29 points, rescuing the Cowboys from a late 11-point deficit to beat Texas-San Antonio 90-85 in overtime Wednesday night in the NIT Season Tip-Off.

Guerrero stole an inbounds pass and hit a tying 3-pointer with 8.8 seconds left in regulation, then nailed the go-ahead 3-pointer in the final minute of overtime to earn the Cowboys (3-0) a trip to Madison Square Garden in New York next week for the tournament semifinals.

Oklahoma State will face Stanford on Wednesday. No. 5 Syracuse faces Virginia Tech in the other semifinal.

Michael Hale scored 26 points and Kannon Burrage added 19 for UTSA (2-1), which squandered an 11-point lead in the final 2 1/2 minutes.
