Rider beats Delaware 95-86 for 20th win

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (AP)—Justin Robinson scored a career-high 31 points and Rider defeated Delaware 95-86 on Saturday.

Robinson, who made 13 of 14 free throw attempts, is part of a senior class that has more wins (79) than any other class in school history. Mike Ringgold added 19 points, Danny Stewart had 12, Brandon Penn 11 and Novar Gadson 10 for the Broncs (20-9).

Rider put the game out of reach with a 13-4 run, capped by a 3-pointer by Robinson, for an 83-67 lead with 4:11 to play. Delaware would get no closer than seven points.

The Broncs, which scored 20 points off 12 Delaware turnovers, shot 52.5 percent (31 of 59) from the field, including 54.5 percent (12 of 22) from 3-point range.

Devon Saddler scored 27 points, Jawan Carter added 25, and Jamelle Hagins had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Blue Hens (12-15), who have lost six of their past seven games.
