Andrew Nicholson scored all 13 of his points in the second half as the Bonnies (10-8, 2-3 Atlantic 10 Conference) ended a three-game skid and won their first conference road game.
Demitrius Conger added 12 points in St. Bonaventure’s first win at George Washington since Jan. 11, 1989, snapping a 14-game streak.
David Pellom scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Colonials (10-9, 3-2), who lost their third straight game and failed to score 50 points for the second time this season.

Wright hit 6 of 7 shots, including 3 of 4 from 3-point range, and Nicholson hit all five of his field-goal attempts.
St. Bonaventure extended a 29-25 halftime lead to as much as 49-33 midway through the second half. Wright hit a floater in traffic and a 3-pointer from the right in that stretch, and Nicholson capped it with a dunk off Da’Quan Cook’s feed.
George Washington responded with a 12-4 run, got to 53-45 on Smith’s putback after he hit a 3-pointer earlier in the run.
But Nicholson scored baskets from the inside on the Bonnies’ next two possessions to make it 57-45, and the Colonials never closed within single digits afterward.
The teams combined to commit 43 personal fouls but failed to take advantage of their opportunities at the line. St. Bonaventure shot 53.8 percent (14 of 26) from the foul line and George Washington shot 57.7 percent (15 of 26).
