IUPUI blows out Wisconsin-Green Bay 63-46

OXFORD, Ohio (AP)—Leroy Nobles scored a game-high 21 points and Alex Young added 18 to help IUPUI blow out Wisconsin-Green Bay 63-46 in the O’Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic on Monday.

The Jaguars (2-3) jumped out to a 19-4 lead with 10:17 left in the first half after Nobles converted a layup with Young assisting. IUPUI maintained the advantage until halftime, 29-15, thanks to 10-for-19 shooting (52.6 percent) in the opening half.

The Phoenix (2-3) struggled to make anything in the opening half as they shot just 6 for 30 from the floor (20 percent). Green Bay’s shooting improved in the second—12 of 25 for 48 percent—but it still wasn’t enough.

Rahmon Fletcher was the only player in double figures for the Phoenix with 16 points on 8-of-10 shooting (80 percent) from the floor.

Stephen Thomas added 16 points—13 in the first half—for the Jaguars on 3-of-5 shooting (60 percent) from 3-point range.
