Binghamton beats New Hampshire 76-73 in OT
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (AP)—Greer Wright scored 29 points, including a free throw to force overtime and then two more to seal it for Binghamton in the extra frame, as the Bearcats beat New Hampshire 76-73 on Saturday night.
Down 68-66 midway through overtime, Pina Guillaume scored five points in a 30-second span to spark a 10-5 run the rest of the way for Binghamton (10-13, 5-3 America East Conference).
Wright hit both his free throws with 9 seconds left to seal the win for the Bearcats, something he couldn’t do in regulation. After Ferg Myrick hit two free throws to put the Wildcats ahead 66-65 with 36 seconds left, Dane Diliegro fouled Wright. He nailed the first shot to tie the game but missed the second, forcing overtime.

Alvin Abreu paced the Wildcats (8-11, 3-5) with 21 points.
