Murray State defeats Southeast Missouri 80-61
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP)—Tony Easley scored 17 points and Isacc Miles added 14 as Murray State remained undefeated in Ohio Valley Conference play with an 80-61 victory over Southeast Missouri on Saturday night.
The Racers (18-3) improved to 10-0 in conference and have won nine straight.
Sam Pearson scored 22 points to lead the Redhawks (6-13, 3-6).
Murray State trailed 22-14 with 11:07 remaining in the first half before stealing the momentum. The Racers went on a 9-2 run to pull within one. Then a dunk by Easley put them up 29-28 with 4:44 left and sparked a 15-0 run.
Murray State went into halftime ahead 44-31 and led by at least nine the rest of the way.
