Griffin’s double-double leads Jackson St. to win

PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP)—Darrion Griffin scored 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds Monday night to lead Jackson State to a 75-66 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

The Tigers (14-14, 13-3 Southwestern Athletic Conference) led 34-32 at the half.

Jackson State also got major effort from Grant Maxey, who came off the bench to score 19 points, and Garrison Johnson, with 17 points.

UAPB (11-17, 10-7) was led by Savalance Townsend, with 15 points. Tavaris Washington and Tyree Glass added 10 points each for the Golden Lions.
