Tillema leads Wis.-Green Bay past Detroit

DETROIT (AP)—Ryan Tillema hit 4-of-6 from 3-point range and finished with 18 points Thursday night, leading Wisconsin-Green Bay past Detroit 78-62.

The Phoenix (22-8, 13-4 Horizon League) never trailed, shooting 48 percent in the first half to take a 36-24 lead into the break. Green Bay’s shooting improved to 52 percent in the second half.

Troy Cotton added 17 points, Mike Schactner had 14 and Rahmon Fletcher 11 for the Phoenix.

Eulis Stephens led the Titans (7-21, 2-15) with 17 points, Thomas Kennedy scored 13 and Eugene Blue added 10 points and a game-high seven rebounds. Woody Payne had five points and six assists.
