Wagner rallies for 62-59 win over Robert Morris
NEW YORK (AP)—Justin Drummond hit a jumper and Jamal Smith and Llew Radford each hit a free throw in the final 22 seconds as Wagner rallied for a 62-59 victory over Robert Morris on Saturday night.
Joey Mundweiler led the Seahawks (14-13, 6-10 Northeast) with 17 points. Radford added 12 points, while Smith pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds and had seven points.
Jeremy Chappell had a game-high 19 points, and Jimmy Langhurst added 12 for the Colonials (19-10, 13-3).
Dallas Green made a pair of free throws to give the Colonials a 59-58 lead with 2:26 to play. But Drummond hit a jumper to put the Seahawks ahead for good with 22 seconds to go. Smith and Radford closed it out by making one free throw each.
